NSW School holidays have ended! Although we’re sure that didn’t need to be announced!
We chat to so many parents with kids in school and there are both pro’s and con’s to school holidays aren’t there?! Some of the pro’s are no more ironing school uniforms, no more packing lunches, no more early starts getting the kids ready for school and out the door on time and no more school pick ups. Plus spending quality time with the kids is, of course, priceless.
But there is a lot of planning and energy involved. Re-organising work schedules, planning activities in that will be both fun and entertaining every single day, and for some, the lack of daily routines and structure can be a bit too much to bare! We get it, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that parents look forward to when school goes back.
It’s been all about the kids for the past couple of weeks and with Mother’s Day coming up in 2 weeks on May the 13th, it is a wonderful time shift the focus a little – to reflect and to celebrate all that Mum does and to gift her something thoughtful and special.
With this in mind, we hosted a Mums Morning Tea recently at Hypmotive hub, where we caught with local Inner West Mums to find our their “TOP 3” for Mother’s Day.
Check out Annika’s Top 3 and we hope you find some inspiration!
