Where does the graffiti come from?
Over the past 30+ years, hundreds of layers of graffiti paint have built up in outdoor public areas across Sydneys inner west where murals are regularly painted over. This build up of paint falls off over time, littering parks and streets with chunks of layered paint. We scavange Sydney graffiti hot-spots collecting the discarded pieces, giving them a new life as jewels.
Store in a cool, clean dry place.
Keep away from extreme heat. Epoxy resin is a type of plastic, which means its melting point is lower than the melting point of metal. While epoxy resin can be flamed when its first mixed together and is still in the curing/ hardening stage, once it has cured a flame can ruin the piece.
Keep away from water and water based products to avoid tarnishing.
Remove your jewellery when applying moisturiser, sunscreen, hairspray or other beauty products. Chemicals and Oils can effect the surface of the resin.
Sterling silver has some softness to it. Please store carefully and safely avoiding pressure on the piece. If the silver gets bent or damaged please get in touch for repairs.
Silver hooks can be removed and cleaned/polished with silver cleaner and a soft jewellery cloth.
Resin coasted pieces can be cleaned with a mild soap and water or polished using a plastic polish.
If your piece has been damaged or broken please get in contact with the issue as we may be able to fix it for you.
